Which Amplifier Should I Get?

Hello, I got some speakers off craigslist (they sounded good XD). Anyway, they say the are 300 watts at 8 ohms on the back. So I'm going to assume that this is peak. I'm going to music go round tomorrow (a store that sells used music equipment) and they are selling these 2 amps that i think are the closest.

Please help as im going to pick it out tomorrow. I understand that they may be a little more powerful than the speakers, so my understanding is, as long as i don't turn it up all the way i won't blow my speakers?

People get way too worried about matching amp and speaker watts. The key to not blowing your speaker is do not turn up your system so loud that the amp goes into distortion. Those amps should have "peak" or "limit" lights that will light up if the amp is distorting. Amp distortion is what blows your speakers. You will hear the distortion too.

If you are careful not to play your system so loud that the amp distorts, your speakers will last a long time.
